Name: Alexander Klec Jr.

Place of Birth: Bratislava, Czechoslovakia.

Occupation: Entrepreneur and Film Maker.

 

• What’s new? -

In the past few years I have been building, additionaly to what I do, also two side projects called Greenland Project and Greenland Base. The idea was then to merge both together, put them on a website and give it a try. It supports farmers and sell farming products, we offer education and hospitality and we invite like-minded into our community.

The film documentary I produced will enroll this year, after a longer pause. We literally dove quite deep into this and it was a challenge for me to write, direct and produce it. Let’s see if the audience at the cinematic events will like it.

The event series, in cooperation with Academy 5 Alliance and partners happens this year, at various international locations. It’s about connecting each other, exchange information, having a thought, you know, those events where you walk in, get surprised, and walk out with a feeling of motivation and hope.

• Let’s speak about the past. -

World travel. I know that travelling is a luxury thing to do, and I appreciate it, and I cam thankful for it, seeing in the past various places and let my network grow.

Tennis Business. Incredible experiences have been a greater part of the Tennis Business. The variaty and the opposite of it are very near by each other. You experience in short time different things on the one hand and on the other hand you gotta patiently repeat many times the same excercises. The better you can handle those two extremes, the more chances you have to win a match, or the better you enjoy the given situation. The question also is what you can take out of it and what you can transform into something to materialize. The better you can do, the better you move on, my guess. I think this is called growth process, right? I feel like I grew up quite quickly thanks to Tennis and it’s business side. It was time to move new things. I am thankful for getting awards, gratulations, or having success in various kinds, or also losses, or lessons, but isn’t it all a part of a bigger process? I think so.

Education. Having or receiving lessons or education we should cherish and be open for unawaited situations. I thought let’s have totally new education to what I had prior. It’s in the retrospect a colorful complex, several stages education I had. I wish more people would have it. 

Family roots. Coming from Slavic- Arian family roots from Czechoslovakia and USA, from Bavaria-Germany and Austria origin, dating back to the 17th century. I was born in Bratislava, which is translated - if you want, Brati comes from Brat and means brother and slava comes from slavit and means celebrate, celebration, I can say that it sounds good, right? So we celebrate until today our family.

• Future. - 

Films. - What I want for the future? Film making! Writing, creating, producing and presenting it to the audience. What is a better way to reach a bigger audience then with art or film? I believe it’s a good way to do, just making sure it’s a good quality information and style. Let’s see how that happens. I mean, as mentioned by Chris Nolan, I quote: “you write the script, you have the idea putting down on paper, creating the first steps and then when it’s ready, you look at it and think wow, how now to put this imagination into reality, making a film from it.”

Academy. - Where that goes? Expand and teach! Natural process: if it tastes good, take another bite. If your stomach doesn’t hurt, it’s probably good. If it makes you happy and healthy, logically it’s something to reap eat with. I believe more people will take a bite and get that satisfaction from visiting our Academy, what ever location that might be. 

Greenland Base Art community. - What else to do? Making friends. Inviting, presenting and unite is what we can do. It’s a simple plan we have. We just move on step by step.

Family. - Besides Profession? Keeping the balance. Work-Life balance some say, but I say do what you love and involve your family. Family business have been here long time. I am a fan of that.

• Purpose. -

Our mission - 

“We know where we want to go with it.” 

Imagining the end result and loving it and then go from there to the beginning, to the origin, and building it up.

My mission - “Our mission defines us, also it defines me.” Having a plan and also some alternatives.

• Experience based decisions. -

Political. - A Statement: “…and then we read the news, on the next day, telling and showing horrible scenery, destroyed building, blown off windows, smoke and fire, and we were recognizing that it’s one of the restaurants we have been visiting the other day, because they had good food and the waitresses were beautiful students lady’s earning additional money for their University life, telling us. The news told “all inside restaurant died.” - how tragic. “It was a terror-attack”, news said. Today I say to myself, things can change in a second.

Financial. - We have seen big shifts since we can remember. Example given, the 2008 situation made big waves in the city of Wall Street to the world and impacted the society and markets negatively. Many suffered, sooner or later, like there were many waves crashing in and causing a domino effect. We all experienced stress and loss around the earth.

Health. - Never underestimate the power of yourself. Keep yourself in balance. I agree with Film director David Keith Lynch who said, I quote: “I noticed I did have an Anger. Many people have anger and I was one of them. People direct anger at certain people they can get away with - I would take it out on my first wife. What happens was, I started meditating and two weeks later she came to me and said, “What’s going on?” I said, “What do you mean?” And she said, “Where is that anger?” She didn’t see it anymore. A lot of times when people start meditating they don’t see the changes as soon as the others around them. The others around them notice the change. 

David Keith Lynch, then was asked, I quote, “why did you start practicing meditation then?” He answered: “I picked up 1973. It was the idea that the human being can gain enlightenment. It was driving me crazy, because you hear we only use five or ten percent of our brains.” - And people people get it misunderstood, the purpose of meditation. I continue David K.Lynch quote: “Meditation is a way to go within, all the way within to the deepest level of life, the transcendence, the absolute, the totality and reality and experience that. The human being is built for it.” - And he is right.

• Bonus statement. - 

Advice for the Young: “Take more responsibility and train.” - See, what can we do best to train responsibility when we are in early age? Responsibility for ourselves, for our family, for our friends, for our surrounding. Practice makes Masters.

The Role of the 40is age class, Heroes: “The role model, the strong age class.” - Life experience combined with physical and mental level gives the 40is age class the position to move the things greatly. Go for it, whoever can. 

Talk to the Elders, ask questions: “We need their advice, not Googles’ or ChatGPs’!” - Talk to your parents, talk to the Elders, talk to your grand parents, or older friends, ask questions. Just do it.

Read the books, write: “It is a lot hidden knowledge in the books and not all can go to school.” - We used to know things, we forgot. We used to solve problems, easily ir not easily, but we did. We’ve built things differently, we had less sorrows.

What do we even know: 

“There are many things to relearn. The civilization knowledge.”

- Search for it. It’s a way to go.
