TREE FOR GIFT PROGRAM - COLOMBIA, ANTIOQUIA
Let’s take a look at the growth progress of the planted trees we did 5-6 months ago. Most of them, currently 77 are growing, some died due to 3 reasons, climate reason, e.g. the hight and the cold, and 2nd reason are water shortages to the roots, which means the roots didn’t get it done to reach water. The 3rd reason are animals, which have been either curious, or hungry looking for new fresh food and tried on the young trees. We are repairing it and do further more! Read more about it below.
FINCA ENVIGADO HILLS
At the Envigado-Hills farm we replaced last week 8 bamboo trees with new ones. The pictures below are showing the before and after scenario. Let’s see where that goes.
FINCA BETULIA MOUNTAINS
At the Betulia-Finca, the Palm trees are doing well, also our seeded trees. Now, 11 bamboos were dead, cut in half, probably by animals. Those 11 bamboos we need to replace by new ones, or seed something else, palms, or other trees instead.
THE MOUNTAIN ROAD
The mountain road to Betulia-Finca is doing better, the bigger damage is over, happily. The access still can’t be done by car, only foot marsh of 1.5h, or by motocross 45min, but at difficult terrain. I did it this time by hike run. Jhon went by Motobike, the other week ago. The new rain water damage is small, as pictures say. The next step will be to put stone, concrete and other materials covering the road, and arrange flow of water accordingly. Here is a helping hand needed. The ground fixing at the Envigado Hills Finca is also in good progress.
STAY AND WORK PROGRAM
Therefore we are launching the program work and stay program where adventure driven people can stay at our nice finca in a incredible nature area and get a nice hospitality from us and on the other hand are willing to help with this work of road construction. Here, mainly needs help at the Betulia-Finca.
Thank you very much for supporting our mission.
Thank you for supporting the farmers.
